- Industry Suppliers to Benefit from Enhanced Presence on NSS Show Floor -
WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 27, 2009…In 2010, the National Stationery Show® (NSS) will integrate The Supply Side as a division of the Show. The Supply Side has co-located with the NSS for the past nine years but maintained a separate, distinctive identity and show hours. Exhibitors within The Supply Side – primarily suppliers to the social stationery, giftware and graphic arts industries – will now benefit from increased contact with NSS exhibitors, as well as its attendees, additional hours and a more prominent position within the marketplace.
“Business models have changed quite a bit since the Show’s launch 10 years ago, and the decision to merge The Supply Side into the National Stationery Show is a natural evolution. Further, it responds to the requests conveyed by various customers in The Supply Side, NSS and SURTEX® who need more time to do business together,” said Patti Stracher, National Stationery Show manager. “Creating a division for this sector is the most effective and productive way to meet our customers’ business needs.”
The Supply Side exhibitors will experience no increase in their exhibit fees or booth structure, and the division will continue to be located at the rear of the 3E Hall. In addition, The Supply Side exhibitors will have the distinct advantage of being included in all NSS pre-Show promotion, and will now have exposure in STATUS®, the official Show directory.
The 64th annual National Stationery Show, the nation’s leading marketplace for the social stationery industry, will run Sunday, May 16, through Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Show features nearly 1,000 exhibitors and attracts some 11,000 attendees.
