The National Stationery Show offers a wide range of pre-show and onsite marketing opportunities to help increase your return on investment in the Show.

Pre-Show Marketing Opportunities

Featured Products NEW! - Exhibitors are encouraged to submit product photos to be featured on our website for FREE. Email us a horizontal product shot of at least 500 pixels wide, shot in a white background or other studio setting. No logos or messages and only one photo per company. In addition to the photo, we also need the name of the product in 30 characters or less and the URL of your website where more information on that particular product can be found, ex: http://www.nationalstationeryshow.com/.  Send us your product photo today at NSSFeaturedProducts@glmshows.com. Celebrating Milestones –Are you celebrating a milestone anniversary (5-10-15-20 etc years in business?) at the NSS? If yes, please tell us so we can promote it to buyers and the media! Click here to tell us more!

Online Advertising – Maximize your exposure to the National Stationery Show attendees by supplementing your free listing in the on-line show directory with banner ads and/or an enhanced booth listing. Contact Stephanie Leon-Santiago at ssantiago@glmshows.com for rates and specifications.


Enhanced Online Directory Listing -- The NSS web site is visited by thousands of industry professionals each month, many searching the exhibitor list and event schedule to plan their visit to the Show. Enhanced listing upgrade your standard on-line directory listing with your company logo, active links to your website and e-mail.

Cost: FREE! Limited Time offer ($125 value) Artwork Specifications: All logos must be in GIF or JPG format. Animated GIF is acceptable. Size is no larger than 150x150 pixels. File size must be no larger than 25k. Click here to order your enhanced online directory listing.     


Attendee List Rental – Personal pre- and post-show contact helps you maximize the value of your company’s participation. The 2010 National Stationery Show Pre-Show Attendee list is available for FREE through the Exhibitor Center.  


Public Relations & Media Opportunities – To maximize your Show experience, develop a public relations and advertising campaign that promotes your company, product lines and Show participation. Getting started is easy!

1.  Send a press release to the trade magazines announcing your participation in the Show and your new product lines. For an easy-to-personalize press release template, click here, and for a list of relevant publications and editorial contacts, click here.  Be sure to also send a copy of your press releases to Melissa Gray at mgray@glmshows.com, as she is in constant contact with editors and can factor your initiatives into her promotional notices. 

2.  Advertise your presence at the Show via print ads in key trade publications, banner ads in industry enewsletters, the Show directory, and/or on the Show’s website. To obtain information about advertising in the Show directory or on the website, email the Show's Exhibitor Marketing Manager, Stephanie Leon-Santiago.

3. Invite press to visit you at the Show to attend any media events or special in-booth activities you are planning. These might include artist signings, celebrity or artist appearances and receptions. Bring an extra invitation with you to the show to post in the onsite Press Center (the area of the show where all members of the press register for badges).

4.  Prepare 20-25 press kits for the Press Center. Please drop off press kits in the Press Center during set-up. For tips on assembling a press kit, click here.

 


Onsite Marketing Opportunities
 

Daily Demonstrations - for the 8th consecutive year, GLM and Greetings etc. magazine will offer a series of trend-driven, interactive "Daily Demos" at the National Stationery Show. These lively sessions combine information-packed demonstrations or make-and-take projects with great ideas for retailers to bring back to their stores.

Show Directory Advertising – Distributed at central locations on site, STATUS, the official directory of the National Stationery Show, is both a navigational tool and valuable resource guide for attendees seeking information at the Show and throughout the year. Show Daily Advertising – Special show editions of Stationery Today serve as the official daily publication of the National Stationery Show, offering exhibitors an onsite opportunity to showcase their new products to all participants through advertising and editorial. The Show Daily will feature breaking Show news, program and event details, new product launches, company profiles, trend information and more. Click here for advertising information.


Best New Product Display and Awards Judged by a panel of leading trade publication editors and VIP buyers, best new products are recognized in the following categories:

  • Desk Accessories - decorative office, frames, journals/diaries and organizational products
  • Lifestyle/Specialty Gift - Books, ensemble gift sets and candles
  • Luxury - All items, but in a higher price point
  • Paper Craft/Scrapbooking - stickers, scrapbooks, rubber stamps, stencils, sealing wax, innovative 
  • Party - giftwrap, paper tableware and decorations
  • Social Stationery - greeting cards, invitations, stationery and announcements
  • Think Green - All the above categories that are environmentally conscious

Category winners will be included in the Show Daily as well as on nationalstationeryshow.com, on Twitter, and on live-feed video. Award winners will also be posted in the press room.
