NATIONAL STATIONERY SHOW PRESENTS #fresh Juried Section Unveils New Talent and Debuts Trending Products

White Plains, NY, April 13, 2017-For the fourth consecutive year, the National Stationery Show® (NSS) will feature #fresh, a juried community of trending and emerging businesses showcased together on the Show floor. The NSS takes place May 21 – 24, 2017 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

#fresh offers a place where buyers can meet the owners of up-and-coming stationery and lifestyle gift businesses, and discover new products that will help their retail stores stand out and stay on top of trends,” said Kelly P. Bristol, NSS show director.
The community consists of companies that have been in business less than five years and are creators of fresh new products with authentic, original designs. Not only do #fresh exhibitors design their own products, but more than 90 percent are part of the growing “maker culture” – a movement of independent inventors, designers and tinkerers who combine shared learning, contemporary design and technology.
This year’s exhibitors include:

• Craftedvan – Canadian maker featuring cheery creatures on magnetic bookmarks, mugs,
cards, prints and more
• Forest & Waves – Carefully handcrafted paper and fabric goods inspired by urban and
natural settings and reflecting a passion for the outdoors, travel and adventure
• HAM – Key themes of childhood nostalgia and a fascination with the everyday inform
HAM’s growing range of animal motifs, all created by London-based designer Jo HAM
and brought to life by talented makers in the United Kingdom
• Little Canoe – Whimsical, nature-based scenes brought to life in prints and greeting
cards by this Portland-based illustrator
• Lotto Love – Creator of the first-ever social good scratch-off card
• Story Supply Co. – For every notebook sale, a story supply kit is sent to a nonprofit
organization providing free tutoring, writing, and arts instruction to kids in underserved
communities
• YAY Novelty – American manufacturer of the world’s thinnest wallet/card holder, as
well as ID tags and reusable bags in hundreds of prints and graphics that express the
user’s personality
