Stationery Stories - What is Yours?

“I first started designing paper flowers over 3 years ago, when I was working as a creative director at a wedding stationery company. I realized that there was a place for simple, yet beautiful designs that were easy to achieve by even those who were brand new to crafting.”

I first started designing paper flowers over 3 years ago when I was working as a creative director at a wedding stationery company. I realized that there was a place for simple, yet beautiful designs that were easy to achieve by even those who were brand new to crafting. In the Spring of 2013 I took a leap of faith and launched my own creative lifestyle blog, focusing solely on sharing great DIY projects for those looking to reignite their creativity.

Over the last three years, my website has grown from a solo project to a media company that employs a team of talented photographers, writers, designers and makers. We share DIY projects in felt, fabric and paper for weddings, parties, home decor, kids and more. Although we now embrace all forms of craft, my one true love is still paper. This year I have been lucky enough to develop my own line of extra fine crepe papers with exquisite crafting in mind. Designed in a color palette that is inspired by nature, this wonderfully light and malleable paper is perfect for making realistic paper blooms. It is my intention to elevate crepe paper crafts from candy colored piñatas to elegant crafts that anyone can make!

I chose the National Stationery Show to launch my new line of crepe papers because of its reputation as the best show for inspirational design and product. It’s an honor to be amongst some of my favorite designers and makers; the opportunity to debut my papers there was just too good an opportunity to ignore!
